What's new

Updates to creating, editing, and downloading advertising creatives in Formatry.

Product creatives and easier purchases

In wider sizes, the text panel and product now stay closer in scale. Animated versions keep the product's background and contact shadow visible.

Buy credits or a subscription with Lava before creating an account. After payment, use the link in your receipt to open Studio. If the link expires, confirm the payment email with a code.

For a purchase without an account through Stripe, enter your email at checkout instead of filling it in twice.

On a phone, minimize Studio settings to a small grip to see more of your creative. Export actions remain reachable on narrow screens.

Phone screen text stays intact

  • Fixed an error that could interrupt editing in Studio. Previews update sooner after you stop typing.
  • Screen images keep their full interface text when placed inside a generated phone frame.
  • New illustrated Photoshop guides in Media cover reusable ads, masks and product compositing. Open an article image and swipe through its illustrations on your phone.

Keep editing and download again

  • Download a finished export again without creating it anew, as long as the creative and file settings have not changed.
  • Change the export format without rebuilding an unchanged animation preview.
  • Studio remembers the selected composer tab after a page refresh. Reopening a saved creative no longer briefly shows an unrelated demo.
  • Dismissed feedback invitations stay hidden when you sign in again, including on another device. Sending feedback also removes the invitation.
  • Get a browser notification when an export is ready: enable “Notify when ready” in Exports. Browser support and notification permission are required; on iPhone and iPad, use the installed Home Screen app.

Voice feedback and previews of finished files

  • Report a bug or suggest an idea from Studio, with attachments or a voice recording. Your draft survives closing the form, and a failed submission can be retried.
  • Export-ready emails now include a pack preview and a link to your files. GIF and WebP thumbnails in export history play the animation.
  • Resizing by dragging no longer makes the creative jump when you release it.
  • New still creatives use JPG by default. WebP and PNG remain available, and existing format choices are preserved.

Animated banners in GIF and WebP

  • Animate your banners. Choose Animation in Studio, adjust entrance, movement and timing, then download animated WebP or GIF files in your selected sizes. Your text, images and design stay with the creative.
  • Projects within reach. Open a creative and its files from the project list, where you can also rename, archive or delete the project.
  • Keep the selected image after an upload fails. Retry the upload in the same image preparation window.
  • Explore a creative across formats. The Features page shows the journey from a source image to a campaign; switch examples and formats, compare the result, then continue in Studio.
  • Recover a failed download. Retry the transfer or cancel it while keeping the selected preview open.

Fresh from our social feeds

Our latest posts now live together on the homepage. Switch between channels and open a preview without hunting through each feed.

Your background, your saved creative

  • Use your own background. Add or replace an image in Style. It stays with your creative when you save and reopen it.
  • Pick up where you left off. Save your changes, visit Projects, and return to the same creative to keep editing.
  • Download without leaving the editor. Your export saves as a file while your creative stays open.
  • A tidier Files and export history. Deleted files stay removed, and export statuses update without losing neighboring entries.
  • See how to create a design. New homepage videos show Studio editing and finished files, in English and Russian.

Keep your colors and your canvas

Custom button colors now stay as chosen when you preview or export. Compact phone layouts can fall back to a text composition when the image and copy cannot fit together.

Portrait artwork remains visible with the mobile editor fully open.

Actions where you need them

Right-click a project, creative, file, preset or export to open its relevant actions. The same actions remain available through the regular controls.

Connect a cloud service and choose a folder before sending your exported files there.

Share your invitation link from your account. When a friend makes their first eligible purchase, you receive credits equal to 50% of their purchased credits after 14 days.

Download one image directly

Single-image exports download as an image file, without a ZIP to unpack. Exports with several images keep the ZIP download.

Product compositions adapt more consistently between square, portrait and landscape formats, keeping headlines and product images in proportion.
